Real vs Fake

PV: Why do people find it difficult to be who they are? Why do we always tend to compromise our personalities? Why do we put on pretense, when we are actually not feeling good inside of us? Am I saying you should let everybody know you're going through stuffs? No! But why do we pretend to ourselves thinking "the problem is not there" when it's so glaring and concrete. Now, you listen, yes you. Why do you always keep the real you and living a fake life. You are something on the inside but what you portray on the outside is totally different. But, the unfortunate part is, your inner being is far better than what you're pretending to be.

I wonder why we are never satisfied with the real us and start chasing the shadow of others, which they actually are running away from. You see, these people want to escape their shadow because it's keeps them in cages, but you, you want to be that shadow.

Many times, when we think of compromising our true identity, then we lose all, become frustrated and start questioning God. I'm sorry to tell you, but goats can't survive in water as fish can't survive on land. Why do you put so much effort in becoming like someone else while your true color of identity lies dormant and dusty inside of you? We so much want to be like someone else forgetting that we could actually build our lives for others to look and pattern theirs after; saying if God could do this for him/her, God can help me, too.

There are times we look at our lives and say to ourselves, "there is nothing for people to see. I put in so much hard work yet there's nothing to show for it", and that makes us to think we are incompetent and worthless. But may I ask you again, when you bury a seed, do you see it growing that same day? Have you seen a seed bringing forth fruits without first dying? Do you plant a seed and eat of its fruit that same day? If not, then wait and see what your life will soon become.

Take hold of your life. Don't allow anybody to rubbish your life and give you a fake one to live with for the rest of your life. Do you know why? "Fake life will always bring fake results" (PV). And copying someone else's, will not give you the result of that person's life because, there are principles and customized plans for everybody's life (Jeremiah 29:11). Another secret is; God is the only one that can give you your true identity, because it's hidden in Jesus Christ.
