 Hold Your Stand

What do I stand for is a very important question we ought to ask ourselves at one point or the other in our lives. It’s as the saying goes, If the purpose of a thing is not known, then the abuse is inevitable. This means, if you don’t have an understanding of what you stand for, you will fall for anything. You must know your areas of weakness as well as your strength.

There are times we want to be everything to everyone which is not supposed to be. You will only hurt yourself and the person you are going all out for. It’s heartbreaking to see how much we focus more on pleasing people but, neglecting the fact that we have forgone our existence.

What you stand for is what your existence is based on. Living a purposeful life is not difficult to live I believe but, the route to that is knowing your mountain of influence which is what you stand for.

But, I can’t say this is what I stand for without knowing what I don’t stand for. What do I mean by that? For instance, if you don’t know the original currency, you won’t be able to identify the fake one.

Also, you must learn to stay true to your values and principles. Yes, I know there are times you compromise your principles to permit peace but even at that, let people know what you stand for. Because when they do, they will appreciate and respect you for it.
